Build

Installing the Main Shuttlebay Door

Step A

Retrieve your Deck Two assembly from the lights testing we did in Stage 3. Fit the Main Shuttlebay Door to these two posts of the Deck Two assembly and secure it into place with two (2) BM screws.

Be sure this Main Shuttlebay Door slots fully into the matching channel on Deck Two. This is also your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:

Here is what it looks like from the top side:

Fitting the Deck Base Sections

Step B

Fit the Deck Front Base along the front underside edge of the Deck Two assembly.

Be sure not to pinch or trap any wiring between these Deck Base parts and Deck Two:

From the other side, secure these together with four (4) EM screws:

Step C

Fit the Deck Right Base to the Deck Front Base and Deck Two assembly as shown:

Secure these together from below with (2) BM screws:

Step D

Fit the Deck Left Base to the Deck Front Base and Deck Two assembly as shown.

I had to bend this part quite a bit so it would match up to the Deck Front Base better. It is stiff, so I just took my time making small adjustments:

Secure these together from below with (2) BM screws:

Thoughts
