Expanding the Skeletal Support Structure
Retrieve your Skeleton assembly from the previous stage and fit a larger Skeletal Support A to this location on the left rear side of it.
When working with the skeleton frames, be gentle. They are metal, but can bend easily and cause warping of your saucer section:
Secure this Skeletal Support A to the Skeleton assembly with two (2) BM screws.
This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
Fit a smaller Skeletal Support B to this location on the left rear side of the Skeleton assembly:
Secure this Skeletal Support B to the Skeleton assembly with two (2) more BM screws:
Mirroring what we just added, secure the other two Skeletal Supports to the opposite side of the Skeleton assembly with four (4) BM screws:
‘Penultimate’ – I love this word (meaning the one before the last). This means we only have one more piece of Upper Skeleton to add to complete this saucer frame! The Battle Section Skeleton 1 was not needed this stage, so keep it stored safely for now.
