Disassembling the Saucer

To get started on my remodel, I disconnected all of the wiring from the Saucer PCBs and pulled every screw holding the PCBs/Deck Panels to the Skeleton frames. To keep the various screws organized, I labelled a few small 2″x2″ Clear Boxes I found on Amazon:

Next, I detached every Reflector Panel and removed all of the stock light cabling. It is worth noting here that I did not disassemble my Bridge assembly yet. Look at this rat’s nest of wiring! We are going to re-use some of these wires, so do not discard anything just in case:

The result was this pile of separated Deck Panels and Reflector Panels:
