Well, I hit a roadblock as Stage 52 is out of stock. This was mentioned on November 18, 2021 by Eaglemoss Customer Service USA on Facebook, so I knew it was coming:
Good morning, I wanted to provide a stock update on this collection and explain why some customers are “held” on shipments currently. There is no stock available for the following stages as of this morning: 20 26 52 If you next shipment includes one of the above stages than I am sorry to say that we will not be able to dispatch until the stock is available. Looking for the silver lining – stage 20 is due into port today, stage 26 should be in-bound to the warehouse and stage 52 will be booked in as available stock soon. Once these stages are in the system, your shipments will resume as normal. If you are not waiting on the above stages and have not received a parcel for some time this may be due to a “free bonus” item being out of stock. USA subscriptions are set up differently from the EU/UK and any “free bonus” items are locked into the cycle, this means the service team are not able to skip if out of stock. I arranged for the introduction of an IOU notice as a trail run, this has now been adopted for most of our subscriptions. If any “free bonus” item is out of stock an IOU will be included and once that item is available, it will be included in your next parcel. The highest stage we have in stock now is stage 58 with stages 59 to 70 due to reach US soil between now to the 5th of Dec. We advise that there is at least a minimum of 14-day difference from port to warehouse and once on site the stock will be booked into our system. I hope the above helps to explain the current situation for this build Kind regards, Brett N.B. any dates provided are subject to change |
UPDATE January 3, 2022: I checked again today and Stage 52 is still out of stock.

UPDATE February 25, 2022: I have finally received a shipping notification for Stages 51-54 + the Display Stand!
Hope you soon get your next parts as I follow your instructions more than the magazine and you have solved so many issues with your great comments and photos.
Thanks very much for all your help.
Is there an update.. as I am waiting for issue 52 !!! What is the hold up??!! It is now Feb. 1
Believe me, Eaglemoss wants to ship the parts to you (they only get paid when the parts go out the door). But they can’t ship what they don’t have. Global shipping is only now starting to recover and really the only cost to us is having to wait. Almost every company is affected by the pandemic and the ripple effect it has had on logistics. I have learned to be patient with these partworks and end up forgetting all about the delays and troubles once the model is finished and on display.
No lies detected.. and COVID has wrecked alot.. but, eaglemoss could have sent out an official statement or something.. even though its not there fault.. I’m simply speaking from the “paying customer” perspective.. And yes, its definitely worth the wait.. I’ve enjoyed my build so far.. but .. BUT… this isn’t a 10 cent build… its a very expensive build. Compensation is warranted.. but at least a notification would have been the responsible thing to do
Better communication from them would surely help. They do have their Facebook page where they provide stock updates and such. I’m guessing their logistics system is not able to track who is waiting on what and send emails to people. Every builder is at different points in the build, so it would get complicated quickly. Then, they are using third-party fulfillment centers that ship products for lots of companies, not just Eaglemoss. It does seem like a lot of layers to sell the product, create the product, ship the product, package the product, bill the product, deliver the product, and finally support the product. All through various suppliers along the way.
I did get an email a couple weeks ago that they are establishing a new US based fulfillment center that will alleviate the backlog on Enterprise kits being shipped out and at that point they will be shipping twice per month to catch up. Right now I’m stuck waiting for the anything following issue #19, and have been since early November. I’ve got so many things going on right now that I’m not concerned, particularly since my Jeep build issues have been running like clockwork.
Funny thing is that with my Jeep build, they also went to the IOU system for the extra freebies. One of my invoices listed an IOU for the tool kit, but I received the actual tool kit. Next shipment the invoice listed an actual tool kit, and I received one again.
I think they are simply running a very antiquated inventory and fulfillment system that leaves the staff handling it all manually. With the complexity of their product line there’s only so much they can do for keeping people updated with shortages and such.
I have finally received a shipping notification for Stages 51-54 + the Display Stand!
